In this interview, CTB Sports Director Derek Darr sat down with Enid Head Football Coach Brad Cornelson to discuss the upcoming game against Edmond North.

Coach Cornelson began by recapping the Bixby game from the previous week:

“Well, it was a tough night, obviously. When you turn the ball over early, it’s certainly hard to overcome. We knew what we were going up against going into the game. We were banged up in a number of different spots. You try to pull out some things that did happen. The guys did execute some things. You learn, you continue to correct.”

The coach gave some insight on what to expect from Edmond North:

“They’re a really good team. They’ve lost some close games; their record could easily be a lot different than it is, but they’ve had a tough schedule and have lost some games…going to have our hands full again. Looking forward to getting a little adjustment in the schedule here this week…We had Monday as [a] practice day…which helps us with this change in the schedule later in the week. But [getting] ourselves prepared again, [going] out there with a good game plan, ready to go, execute, and believe that it’s one play at a time and [everybody] doing their job. Good things will happen.”
