Billie was a talented artist who worked at Marquis, retouching and painting senior portraits. She later continued her craft at Monarch Picture Studios, where her artistic touch brought countless photographs to life. During these years, she and Gerald proudly welcomed two children, Jerry Schultz and Cindy (Schultz) Fuksa.
Billie later joined the State School in the supply department, where she worked diligently until her retirement in 1998. In her retirement, she remained active and engaged, especially through her involvement in the Imo Members Extension Club. She enjoyed sewing, baking, and entering her creations in the Garfield County Fair. One of her most cherished traditions was sewing Christmas stockings for every member of her family—and their spouses—a keepsake each one treasures to this day.
Billie loved walking in her yard, visiting with neighbors, relaxing by the pool next door, and never passed up the chance to enjoy a good hamburger. Her kindness, creativity, and gentle spirit left a lasting mark on everyone who knew her.
Billie is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gerald. She is survived by her children, Jerry Schultz (Valerie) and Cindy Fuksa (Brian), all of Enid; six grandchildren, Kelley Craparatta (Jason), Kirstin Claypole, Courtney Schultz, Megan Correa (Danny), Colter Fluman (Jennifer), Addie Poplin (Shane); fourteen great-grandchildren: Cevin, Christopher, Silas, Jax, Chloe, Chase, Paige, Noah, Molly, Hannah, Haizlee, Corbin, Aidan, Finley; and one great-great-grandchild, Avery.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the Garden Chapel at Memorial Park in Enid, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Enid Loaves & Fishes or to the Fish Fisherman’s Club, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing children access to fishing and offering support and counseling to families and individuals experiencing loss or trauma.
