The City of Enid has announced vacancies on various City Boards, allowing citizens to be involved in local government.
The following boards have no requirement, and any interested resident of Enid can apply:
- Aviation Advisory Board
- Board of Adjustment
- Dr. Martin Luther King Holiday Commission
- Enid Joint Recreation Triad
- Library Board
- Park Board
- Public Arts Commission of Enid (PACE)
- Tree Board
The following boards have prerequisites listed below the position:
- ADA Access Board
- Enid resident with a disability
- Fire Civil Service Commission
- Member of the Enid Fire Dept.
- Historic Preservation Commission
- Attorney
- Licensed Real Estate Broker or a Banker
- Registered Architect or an Individual with a demonstrated interest in historic preservation
- Kaw Lake Funding Oversight Committee
- Ward 2, 4, or 6 resident
- Meadowlake Golf Course Advisory Board
- Member of the Meadowlake Women’s Golf Association
- Metropolitan Area Planning Commission (MAPC)
- Resident of Enid for the last three years
- Police Civil Service Commission
- Resident of Enid for the last three years
- Member of the Enid Police Department
- Vance Development Authority
- Hospital Administrator
- Licensed Realtor
