1952 - 2026

Paula JoAnn Cary Ingmire, youngest child of Douglas Cary and Ruby Crittenden Cary, was born November 30, 1952 in Ponca City, Oklahoma.  Paula left her earthly life on June 25th, 2026 in Ponca City, Oklahoma.

She attended Blackwell Public Schools graduating with the class of 1971

She was baptized into the Christian faith June 16, 1957 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blackwell, Oklahoma and confirmed her baptism vows on November 7, 2010 at First Lutheran Church in Ponca City.

When Paula and brother Jim both owned porta potty rental businesses, there was good natured teasing about who had the most units rented at any given time and who was encroaching on whose territory.

She and sister Glenda always enjoyed their trips bargain shopping to Walmart in Ark City.

Paula was proceeded in death by her parents, grandparents, Charley and Edna Cary; Walter and Gladys Crittenden, 5 uncles, 1 aunt, and 3 cousins.

She is survived by brother Jim Cary and wife Dianne of Okesa, Oklahoma ands sister Glenda Griffin and husband Bill of Pryor, Oklahoma.  2 nieces Karen Murphy and Cindy Williamson and nephew Don Cary and their spouses and along with great and great great nieces and nephews.  2 aunts and 2 uncles and “cousins by the dozen.”

In addition, were her special friends Micheal Jarvis who she loved like a brother, and her crazy critter, Kurtis Stoll, his wife Casey and their children - her spoiled adopted grandchildren - Maddox, Asher, Rhett, and Ryan.

Celebration of life will be held Tuesday June 30, 2026 at 10:00am at the First Lutheran Church in Ponca City with pastor Joseph Highley officiating.
