The City of Enid has announced the construction of new sidewalks in the Prairie Ridge Addition.
These construction efforts are expected to force intermittent lane closures in the area for roughly the next three to four months. The estimated timeframe will be from Monday, July 27 to Monday, Oct. 26.
Crews will be working on the new sidewalks inn these areas:
- South Johnson St. from Pawhuska Ave. to the Walking Trail
- Hayes St. from Pawhuska Ave. to Beverly Dr.
- Chickasaw Dr. from South Johnson St. to Ponca Ave.
Any closures enforced will likely vary in location, duration and size while also being contingent on the weather. Motorists are encouraged to follow all posted traffic control signs in the area once construction begins.
