Come and Go reception for John Padfield, 64 of Enid, will be Saturday, September 5, 2026 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm in AB Circle of Life Event Center, 3022 N. Van Buren. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.
John was born November 9, 1961 in Kingman, Kansas to George Allan and Virginia May (Denison) Padfield and graduated to heaven on August 21, 2026 at his home in Enid.
He grew up in Kingman and graduated from Kingman High School. After high school, John enlisted in the US Air Force. Between active and inactive military duty, he served his country 42 years and a day. (John’s exact words!) While stations in England, John attended and graduated Bible College. On July 18, 1992, he married Diane Allen in Wichita, Kansas. They had two children, Paul and Amy. For several years, John worked for Groendyke Transportation.
He loved God, his family, and his country. John traveled and saw the world, but his favorite place to be was at home with his family.
He was preceded in death by father, George Padfield, mother, Virginia Copeland; brother, Stanley Padfield.
John is survived by his wife, Diane, son Paul A. Padfield, daughter Amy Padfield all of the home; sister, Georgia Epley of Kingman, Kansas; 2 nephews, 2 nieces, 3 great nieces and 1 great nephew, all residing in Kingman, Kansas.
