1972 - 2026
Lee Frisendahl, beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away August 24, 2026. He was born in Wrightstown, New Jersey on April 8, 1972 to Bruce and Ann Frisendahl. This was his mother’s birthday, and the best birthday present she ever received! The family moved to North Enid shortly after.
Lee lived a life of servitude. He made Eagle Scout in 1989. He was always proud of his Boy Scout career. Lee graduated from Chisholm High School in 1990. After 8 long years and multiple colleges, he graduated college at Phillips University. Lee worked for the Boy Scouts of America and would go around the state starting up new troops.
Lee never planned to be a police officer, but fell into it and it became his career. Lee was a reserve Sheriff Deputy for Grant County, Chief of Police in Lamont, and a police officer in Pond Creek, before he joined the police force in Enid. He loved his job and he loved teaching his officers. Lee was loyal to his “Invaders of the Night, Gray Tornado” team. He served on the Hunter volunteer fire department. Lee became an auctioneer in 2007, starting his own business. Working side by side with his wife on many sales over the years.
Lee loved life and lived big. Just a few of Lee’s adventures included his race car the “Signal 88”, riding bulls in college, and he was the “Mad Scientist” at Leonardo’s. Lee was the youngest “King of Old Iron” at North Enid Lions Club steam engine and tractor show. He owned and restored over 100 antique vehicles in his short 54 years. Getting to give people rides in his vehicles brought him great joy and also that is how he met his wife Becky. He started the Boy Scouts Car show in Enid, and at one point he had the largest car show in northwest Oklahoma.
Lee married Rebecca Easterly in June 2003 at “Up the Creek Farm.” They shared 23 years together. To this union they welcomed four beautiful children; Couper, Nash, Kaiser, and Crosley. All of the kids were named after cars because of his passion for antique vehicles. Lee loved his
family fiercely. He was the biggest supporter that his 4 children had. Truly the biggest joy and the greatest job Lee had in his life was being their dad!
Lee is survived by the love of his life, Becky. Four children, Couper, Nash, Kaiser, and Crosley. His parents, Fritz and Ann Frisendahl; father-in-law, John Easterly; mother-in-law, Connie Easterly; sister, Kathy and husband James Jantz. Brother and sisters-in-law, Heather and Wade
Brinkman, Chris and Karry Easterly, Jennifer and Bobby Dowe; nieces and nephews, Matthew, Amanda, Kayla, Payton, Paisley, Sarah, Riley, and Levi; cousins and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Aunt Dorothy, Uncle Walt, and Uncle Butch.
