Graveside services for Jim Ray Strait age 67 of Enid will be 10:00 am Monday, September 21, 2026 at the New Home Cemetery, Nash with Rev. Kelly Cronkite officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.
Jim was born June 16, 1959 in Enid to Francis and Leora (Milligan) Strait and passed away at his home in Enid on September 10, 2026. He attended and graduated from Garber High School with the class of 1977. Jim was active in FFA during school. He attended OSU Tech School in Okmulgee, OK where he received his electrical schooling. He married Mary Kay Porter on May 4, 1990.
Jim went to work for Conrady Electric for 17 years. He later went to work for Vance AFB as an electrician retiring after 27 years. Jim loved to fish and hunt, where he made lots of memories with family and friends.
Jim is survived by his son Jonathan Strait, two brothers Stanley and wife Carla Strait and Richard and wife Lea Ann Strait along with several nieces, nephews and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
Memorials may be made to 4RKids Foundation, Inc. with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory serving as custodian of the funds.
