1948 - 2026
Sue was born on December 20, 1948, in Ponca City, Oklahoma to Walter Harlow and Leila Loree Thornton Farnsworth. Sue passed on Sept. 15, 2026.
Sue went to school at McKinely in her early years and finished the 10th grade at Ponca City High School. As a teen she worked at Sonic for a while then later in life she worked at Ponca City Nursing Home for several years.
She was married to George Henry White, to this union had Walter Thomas White and Bliss Ann White. She and George lived in Germany for two years where Bliss Ann was born.
Sue later married Leonard Edward Beaston. To this union, one son, Frank Asher Beaston was born.
Sue is survived by her son Walter Thomas White and his wife Serry Dawn Middleton Sister Mary Alice King of Ponca City, OK.; her best friend Irene Tribble Fabin of Ponca City, OK who has taken good care of Sue this past year.
Sue leaves six grandsons and five granddaughters, three great granddaughters .
Stephanie Garfield Workman and Husband Trace Workman of Layton , Utah, many cousins, nephews and nieces. She had two very special cousins, Max and Roger Hawkins, who she felt was more like brothers, and many friends.
Sue was preceded in death by her husband Leonard Beaston; parents , Harlow and Leila Farnsworth , one sister Linda Harleen Brown. One grandson Juston McSmith. Her grandmothers and one great grandmother.
Sue was a lifelong member of The Church of Jersus Christ of Latter day Saints. Funeral services will be held at 10am on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Ponca City I.O.O.F. Cemetery under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.
