The 11th Annual Okeene Germanfest is making its return this Saturday, Sept. 26 starting at 11 a.m.
The festivities open with 6th Annual Run to Restore 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run. The 5K starts in Okeene at 9 a.m. while the 1 Mile Fun Run starts at 9:45 a.m. with fees to enter the race being $30 and $10, respectively. Those who register for the race gain free entry into Germanfest.
Germanfest will include no shortage of German delicacies, including, but not limited to, schnitzels and kraut. Imported German bier will also be on tap along with domestic selections.
There will also be a corn hole tournament, German dessert and bierocks bake-off, Minute to Win It, kuchen walks, German food auctions, live music and so much more.
