The City of Enid Commission hearing regarding the recent rezoning requests for Project Thunderbird will be held in the Council Chambers on Tuesday, Oct. 6.
The hearing will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will be open to the public.
Although the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission did recommend the requests for approval, the Mayor and Commissioners have final say on whether or not they are carried out.
While rezoning the land necessary for a potential data center and power corridor does not guarantee that either piece of infrastructure will be built, next Tuesday’s meeting will still serve as a critical step in the process towards making that happen.
