Teresa Kay Thorp was born on November 22, 1952 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Thomas Dean and Beverly Jean (Casler) Mills. There is a “great cloud of witnesses” who point us to Christ in that they believed God, therefore, and it was counted to them as righteousness. Their greatest hope was not in this life. By the grace of God alone, Teri K. Thorp has entered into this great cloud of witnesses on October 10, 2026 in Oklahoma City.
Teri grew up in New Mexico, later moving to Oklahoma City before making Enid her home. She graduated from Enid High School in 1970. Teri went to Autry Vo-Tech and Phillips College earning her licensed practical nursing degree. On May 24, 1975, she married Darl Thorp in Redeemer Lutheran Church. Teri worked many years at Integris, retiring in 2016. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and LWML. Teri enjoyed fishing, shopping, and spending time with her grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
