CTB Sports Director Derek Darr sat down with Kremlin-Hillsdale Head Football Coach James Worley to talk about the upcoming game against Canton.
The coach began by sharing what he expects the Canton Tigers to bring to the field on Friday night:
“The weather is going to dictate a lot in the game, but I see it as a really good matchup for us. We’ve been building all year, and I just want to see really good fundamental football and basic football, and I think that’s going to do well for us.”
Coach Worley shared what has led to the team’s success so far this season:
“It’s just focusing on the simple things and trying to do the simple things right, trying to play football from the basics from the ground up, and finally, we’re trying to play tough football, simple football, basic football, and you can have all the special plays you want, but when it comes down to it, it’s blocking and tackling. We’ve been really focusing on that and just getting better every day and just staying consistent, getting better.”
