A private family burial for Violet Marjorie Bishop will be in Oakland-Knowles Cemetery near Cresent.
Violet was born August 28, 1924 in Cashion, Oklahoma to Michael Reschke and Iona (Hammermeister) Reschke and died Thursday, October 29, 2026 in Greenbrier Nursing Home. Violet graduated from Crescent High School with the class of 1944. On October 14, 1945 she married Lee M. Bishop in the First Christian Church in Crescent.
The couple had two sons, Jerry and Floyd Bishop. She was a homemaker, volunteered with RSVP, and enjoyed her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also had a wonderful relationship with her daughter-in-law Penny Bishop.
