Clark Gary McKeever
1954 - 2026

Clark Gary McKeever was born in Enid, Oklahoma on August 15, 1954 to Douglas Campbell McKeever and Billie Gary McKeever, and died November 2, 2026 due to complications from a stroke.

A lifelong resident of Enid, Clark attended Enid High School. He graduated from Texas Christian University (TCU) with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1976 and continued his education at the University of Oklahoma College of Law, earning his law degree in 1979.

Following law school, Clark returned to his hometown of Enid to continue a family tradition of practicing law. He proudly became the third generation of McKeevers to practice law in Enid, a legacy that began in 1902. Continuing this longstanding family tradition was an important part of his professional life and his connection to the community. Throughout his career, he earned the respect of his colleagues and clients through his dedication to the legal profession.

His professional accomplishments included serving as Past President of the Garfield County Bar Association and receiving its Lifetime Achievement Award. He also held an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Clark was a member of the American Bar Association and the Oklahoma Bar Foundation.

Clark married Laura Miller on March 30, 2015 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. In waiting until later in life to marry he found his perfect match and true love of his life. Through the joys and challenges that life brought their way, they remained devoted to one another.

Clark was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Laura McKeever. He is survived by siblings Karen Flynn (Ed), Kent McKeever and Mary Alice Garrison; stepchildren Amy Miller, Jay Miller and Max Miller; nieces and nephews Patrick Flynn, Meghan Alonso, Dan Flynn, Laura Garrison and Rick Garrison.

Clark was a rare individual who brought truth, wit, and wisdom to every conversation. An ever-present optimist, he had a gift for making connections with people from all walks of life. He never met a stranger and was genuinely interested in everyone he encountered. He had a way of making people feel heard and valued. Conversations with Clark were rarely ordinary and his sharp wit, thoughtful perspective, and optimistic outlook made him someone people enjoyed knowing and whose company they treasured.

A Celebration of Clark's life will be at 11a.m. on Monday, November 9, 2026 at First Presbyterian Church, 502 W Maine St. with reception to follow. Burial will be at 10a.m. at Enid Cemetery, 212 Willow Rd. Arrangements are under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.
