Jay Leno has been granted conservatorship of his wife, Mavis Leno, after she was diagnosed with dementia. The decision was made during a hearing at the Los Angeles County Superior Court, where Mavis’ lawyer expressed her agreement with the conservatorship, stating that she is receiving excellent care with her husband. The judge acknowledged Leno’s actions, affirming that he is doing everything right and that Mavis consents to the conservatorship. Leno also revealed that he is in the process of estate planning and reviewing his wife’s will. Mavis, 77, reportedly suffers from advanced dementia and often experiences disorientation.
