Beyoncé stated, "act ii is a result of challenging myself, and taking my time to bend and blend genres together." She hinted at "a few surprises" and collaborations with artists she deeply respects. The album is described as a continuation of her previous work and aims to create an immersive experience for listeners. Cowboy Carter is set to be released on March 29.
