Scott Allen Bartts, age 32, was arrested on Feb. 25 and held on a $1 million bond.
The Enid Police Department was contacted at 5:04 a.m. on Feb. 25 after nude images of a 15-year-old female victim were discovered on Bartts’ cellphone.
Police arrived at his residence and questioned him regarding the information presented. Bartts admitted to taking nude photographs to officers, which prompted them to transport Bartts to the police station for an interview with detectives.
Bartts then described how he groomed the girl for sexual abuse for years, admitting to raping and molesting the girl multiple times and taking photographs of her nude. Bartts was then arrested for manufacturing child pornography, forcible oral sodomy, first-degree rape, and lewd acts to a child under 12-years-old.
Bartts is scheduled for an arraignment in the Garfield County District Court on March 7.
