The Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center will be open from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 1 for its upcoming event “Treat & Greet: A Teacher Open House”.
All Oklahoma teachers are welcome to this event.
This free event will treat teachers to their choice of either a root beer float or a personalized ice cream sundae as the Heritage Center showcases all of its programming and field trip options for the upcoming school season.
Additionally, the Heritage Center will have their education staff present and ready to discuss available programs and customization options to fit your intended curriculum.
The Humphrey Heritage Village will feature living history interpreters offering hands-on activities, while raffle drawings for prizes will he held throughout the evening. Local businesses will provide the prizes for the raffle drawings.
Teachers who attend this event will also receive a free pass for them and one guest to attend the 2025 editions of either Family Farm Day or Christmas in The Village.
