The Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center has opened its newest exhibit: Brushes in the Heartland.

The exhibit will be open until Saturday, Aug. 8, and will feature the works of two art teachers, Charla Enns and Jena Kodesh.

Brushes in the Heartland will feature artworks that pay tribute to Oklahoma’s captivating landscapes, using earthy materials such as pine needles, lamb’s wool, charcoal, water, and more. Enn and Kodesh’s work brings the state’s fields, wildflowers, and trees to life, capturing the spirit of each season.

The exhibit is included with regular museum admission.
