The City of Enid has issued a water conservation notice due to a scheduled waterline tie-in at Water Plant No. 1. The temporary reduction in water pressure and quantity will occur from 9 p.m. on Saturday, February 8th to 9 a.m. on Sunday, February 9th, affecting the entire city.
The necessary work, located at the 1500 Block of West Chestnut, will be conducted by contractors and city staff. Residents are advised to conserve water during this period; here are some methods for conserving water:
- Turning off the water while brushing your teeth
- Reducing shower time
- Limiting outdoor water use
- Report any water leaks
