Construction for a new walking trail along South Oakwood Rd. is slated to begin on Monday, Sept. 29.
The trail will run from South La Mesa Dr. to West Randolph Ave.
During the construction effort, expect intermittent lane closures for Oakwood’s northbound lane.
Construction will be weather permitting. Motorists should drive cautiously when near the construction area.
