The City of Enid Mayor and Board of Commissioners’ biweekly study session and regular meeting are set for Tuesday, July 7.
As per usual, the study session will begin in the Council Chambers of the City Administration Building at 401 West Owen K. Garriott Rd. at 5 p.m. while the regular meeting begins at 6:30 p.m.
The major orders of business for the study session will be:
- Discussion of the fire hydrant infrastructure renewal program
- Update on the Maine Street Bridge warning lights
- Discussion of the Jerry Allen Memorial Skatepark (JAMS) Program
Meanwhile, the regular meeting will feature:
- A public hearing regarding a request to rezone properties located near the intersection of East Owen K. Garriott Rd. and 42nd Street from “I-3” Industrial (Heavy) District to “A” Agricultural (General) District
- Consideration of approval for a recommendation from the Public Arts Commission of Enid (PACE) to award a grant agreement to the Woodring Wall of Honor and Veterans Park, to partner in the placement of a metal sculpture holding historical information about Purple Heart Experiences
