Enid Summer Chautaqua 2026 Celebrates Spirit of America

The annual Summer Chautauqua event has returned to NWOSU Enid.

Summer Chautauqua is a historical tourism event where actors perform monologues “in character” and pose questions to both the visiting luminary and the scholar/presenter.

Workshops will be held at 10 a.m. with a brown-bag lunch at noon.

Featured performances will begin at 6:15 p.m., followed by the scholar at 7 p.m.

This year’s theme is 250 Years: The Spirit of America, with the following characters being portrayed:

  • Friday, June 12

    • Lucille Ball by Leslie Goddard

Admission to all Chautauqua events is free.
