The Garfield County Fair is happening soon from September 7th to 9th at the Chisholm Trail Expo Center. Some new events that will take place this year are stock shows, new commercial vendor booths, an outdoor food truck festival, and an outdoor concert. Some events added for the kids include pony rides, kid’s games, bounce houses, and more. Admission will be free for everyone.
September 7-9th will be the family-friendly events consisting of train rides, fair entries, vendors, stock shows, balloon art, face painting, and much more. On the final day, the 9th, there will be a food truck festival with Jake Bowers performing outside. It will take place on the east side of the Colosseum. It is requested you bring your own lawn chair due to seating being limited. Stock car races will also be taking place at the Garfield County Memorial Stadium. Gates will be open at 6:00 PM and races will begin at 7:00 PM.
