Michael E. Nix, 53, was pronounced dead in a fatality collision on Friday, May 3.
Nix was heading southbound on OK-34 in his 2006 Ford Mustang when he departed the roadway. The vehicle rolled twice, ejecting Nix on the first roll, who was pronounced deceased at the scene by Woodward County EMS from injuries he sustained.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation, but the seatbelts were not in use during the crash.
The collision was investigated by Trooper Tanner Bozarth #217 of the Harper/Beaver County Detachment of Troop I. and assisted by Lt. Brack Miller #125, Mooreland Police Department, Woodward County Sheriff’s Office, Woodward County EMS, and Woodward Fire Department.
