The City of Kingfisher is dialing up a huge event for America’s 250th Birthday: Red, White And Boomfest coming up on Saturday, July 4th!
Here’s the itinerary for the event, featuring activities going on across town:
- 10 a.m. – Parade in Dowtown Kingfisher
- Parade will run from the Interbank to Highway 33, then back to the Interbank
- Lineup will feature a giant 76′ x 50′ American Flag!
- 11 a.m. – Family Fun at Kingfisher Park
- Featuring Turtle Races, Sack Races, a Balloon Toss, Balloon Artists, Clowns, a National Child ID Program and Food Trucks!
- 12 p.m. – Home Run Derby Check-In
- Derby itself begins at 1:15 p.m.
- Age groups will be open for boys and girls starting at age 12
- $20 entry fee, with prizes including a 50/50 cash pot and a keepsake trophy

- 2 p.m. – Duck Race
- Happening inside the K-Town Kove at Vernie Snow Aquatic Center
- 3-6 p.m. – Free Swim at K-Town Kove
- 6 p.m. – Bike Parade through the Park
- Decorate your bikes and ride along a designated path! Everyone who participates will get a prize!
- 5-7 p.m. – Free Fun in the Park
- Featuring Trains Rides and Face Painting!
- 7:30-9:30 p.m. – Free Concert at Homier Field
- The Mark Odom Band is coming up from San Antonio for a free show!
- 9:30pm/Dusk – Fireworks at Homier Field
There will also be plenty of food & drink vendors open throughout the day!
