Chisholm Trail Broadcasting is teaming up with Jackson’s of Enid for the 4th Annual KNID Pet Project, a fundraiser to benefit the Enid Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

Stop by Jackson’s of Enid on Saturday, Nov. 1, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for an afternoon of family fun!

Take part in the Trunk R’ Treat and enter some great giveaways! The ESPCA will also be in attendance with some pets available for adoption. Additionally, Stanley’s Wrecker will have a flatbed truck to collect donations from attendees. Anyone who donates or adopts will be entered for a chance to win a pair of Thunder tickets or Luke Combs concert tickets

EnidLIVE’s Derek Darr sat down with the Enid SCPA Executive Director, Vickie Grantz, to discuss the KNID Pet Project and gather additional information.

Grantz announced that the Enid SPCA is still taking applications for trunks:

“Give the Enid SCPA a call at [(580)] 233-1325, be sure to leave a message if you don’t get an answer, or you can send us an email at info at [email protected], or you can send us a Facebook message.”

Grantz also spoke about what the foundation is accepting in donations that would help the shelter greatly:

“We do a lot of enrichment in the shelter, so some of the things we need for that are canned cheese, peanut butter, cats love those churro tube cat treats, wand toys, fancy feast kitten food, paper towels, scrub daddies, cat scratchers, small cat toys, [and] cat kicker toys. 70% Alcohol, which is something they use in the medical side of things; hard dog chews, things that you would think a dog could not chew up, trust me, they can chew them. Dog trainer treats….

107.1 KNID will be LIVE throughout the event, giving updates and playing today’s top country hits. Be sure to stop by and say hi!
