In this interview, The Doc spoke with paranormal investigators Greg and Dana Newkirk to discuss their upcoming event, Haunted Objects Live, as well as what led them to this occupation.
Greg shared the underlying message behind the Newkirks’ work and what audiences can expect to take away from the show:
“We want people to come in spooked about it, and then we’ll fill their heads with all kinds of strange theories. And then you know, really, the underlying message of everything we do is one of self-empowerment because a lot of the paranormal is presented in a very scary way, where [your] interaction with these things is meant to be scary. Our message is always to be curious instead of afraid. Because you learn more about the world, and I think people will leave this presentation with a totally new concept of what a haunted object is, where they come from, how they come into uh, how they are created…They’ll be able to do that same thing themselves and help us do it too.”
The Newkirks will host their show at the Stride Bank Center on March 21 at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the center’s website here.
