Ringwood Man Pleads Guilty in Death of Infant

(Enid, OK) A Ringwood man has pled guilty to a charge of first-degree murder of his 2-month-old baby from February 2020.

According to Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation and online court records, 24-year-old Dustin Wayne Lamm was sentenced to life in prison with all but 28 years suspended.

Emergency medical personnel and law enforcement were called to the 11800 block of Oklahoma 58 in Ringwood on Feb. 21st, where responders were told the 2-month-old baby aspirated while being fed by the child’s father.

The baby was transported to OU Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City. Doctors discovered the infant had multiple injuries to the head and torso, according to OSBI., and the baby died at the hospital.

Lamm was booked into Major County Jail and will be transferred to Oklahoma Department of Corrections to serve his sentence.
