In this interview, CTB Sports Director Derek Darr sat down with Roger Gosen of Kremlin-Hillsdale Public Schools to discuss the upcoming 40th Annual Trivia Night.
Gosen began by sharing where it will be hosted at as well as the format:
“It’s on Friday night, Sept. 25 at 6:30 p.m. It’s [at] the Kremlin Community Center, right on the edge of town. Can’t miss it, and we’ve done this 40 times now. The format is: you come in, have six people or less…sit at a table, and we ask questions, and you answer the questions. Turn them in on a piece of paper and see how many you get right. The team [who] gets the most gets the medals. So it’s kind of fun.”
Gosen went into detail about the answer format:
“Instead of buzzers where you try to buzz in [as] the high school kids do, we found out that’s intimidating for a lot of people. And this way is a lot more fun. You sit around the table, talk about the questions, and you can share your answers. And you can discuss it among your teammates and write it down.”
