The town of Waukomis is preparing for its winter celebration: Waukomis Welcomes Christmas, coming Dec. 5 and 6.
The event will have main street filled with activities that you don’t want to miss! From Christmas dinners to tree-decorating contests, Waukomis Welcomes Christmas has something for everyone!
The following is the itinerary for the event:
- Friday, Dec. 5
- 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- Christmas Dinner at Mo’s Place
- Horse-drawn carriage rides
- Village open, Santa & Mrs. Claus
- 8 p.m.
- Drone Show by Sky Elements
- 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- Saturday, Dec. 6
- 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
- Breakfast with Santa at Mo’s Place
- 10 a.m. to Noon
- Pictures with Santa, Hot cocoa
- 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Voting for tree decoration
- Live entertainment in the Chapel
- Christmas Village, raffle baskets, and marketplace open
- 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Bounce houses, live nativity, and food trucks
- 11:30 a.m.
- Registration for pet costume contest
