1987 - 2026
Son of Debbie Hannah-Deweese and Michael Wayne Cordell went home to be with the Lord on August 8th, 2026 in Ponca City, OK. David was born on November 27th, 1987 and was 38 years old. He graduated from Blackwell High school in 2006. David enjoyed family game nights especially Farkle, fishing, camping, playing horseshoes and watching Rick & Morty and Oklahoma state football. He also loved cooking, grilling out and storm-watching any chance he could. He was best known for his great sense of humor, big heart, and love for animals; particularly, his faithful, furry companion of 15 years, Gnarly Marly. David was a jokester and loved to make people smile. His family and friends were always an important part of his life. David loved watching movies. He had a huge collection of dvds.
He is preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents, Tommy and Bonnie Hannah and his Paternal Grandparents, John and Lois Cordell, as well as Maternal Uncle, Richard Hannah.
He is survived by his Daughter, Danyelle Paige Thiele of Kansas, Mother, Debbie and Husband, Garry Deweese of Ponca City, and Father, Michael Cordell of Blackwell. He is also survived by his Grandmother, Lois Hannah of Tulsa, Sister, Jennifer (Jenny-Poopers) Gonzalez, Step Brother Shawn Deweese and Wife Vicky Deweese, Step Sister, Erin Trussell and Husband Ricky Trussell; as well as his Niece, Kayla Gonzalez and Boyfriend, Andrew Means and Niece, Ashley Gonzalez. He is also survived by numerous other Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
