Celebration of life service for Dustin Erick Brown, 40, Blackwell resident, will be held at the Blackwell Event Center with officiating. Committal prayers will be in Blackwell Cemetery under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.

Dustin was born on January 18, 1986 in Ponca City, the son of Rickey Dean Brown and Connie Sue Shreck Van Brunt,, and passed away on March 16, 2026 in Blackwell. He was raised in Blackwell, graduating from Lighthouse Academy in Bowling Green, Kentucky with the class of 2004. He worked at Pan Ostin and Hobby Lobby, later moving back to Blackwell where he worked in the oilfield for many years. Later, volunteered for several years as a wrestling and baseball coach. Survivors include his mother, Connie of Blackwell; step dad Dale of Blackwell, daughter Addyson Brown of Bowling Green Ky, son Brantley Brown of Blackwell sisters Julie Stout of Ponca City, Lindsey McCannon of Blackwell, Brittany Harter of Pond Creek, Macee Brown of Ponca City and Baylee Brown of Blackwell, nephews Landon, Connor, Kaydon, Drake, Taylor, Talon, Brayden, Brody, Easton, Grayson and Christian, and one niece Hadlee.
