Funeral service for Geneva Tefft Estes, 83, will be Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 2:30 pm in Anderson-Burris Chapel with Pastor Kenneth Wade officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.
Geneva was born March 21, 1943, in Douglas, Oklahoma, to Melvin Lewis and Anna Marie (Ruppel) Eckert and passed away on September 1, 2026, in Norman, Oklahoma, with her family by her side.
She grew up in Fairmont and was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church, Fairmont. After high school, Geneva went to Business College in Tulsa. She worked as a bookkeeper in the banking industry. Geneva married Elmer Tefft. They made their home north of Enid. They became members of Redeemer Lutheran Church. After Elmer’s death, she married William “Bill” Estes. Geneva enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Elmer and Bill; parents and grandparents.
Geneva is survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made through Anderson-Burris to Redeemer Lutheran Church.
