Heather Wood-Webber
1971 - 2026

Heather Wood-Webber, a vibrant soul who lived life with unmatched enthusiasm, strength, grit, and resilience, passed away on July 14, 2026, at the age of 55.

Heather was born on March 18, 1971, in Enid, Oklahoma. She was a proud Otoe-Missouria tribal member, inheriting her Native American ancestry from her late mother, Delores Virginia Wood.

On July 14, 2026, Heather gained her angel wings and was reunited with her Lord and Savior, as well as her father, Eugene Wood, her mother, Delores Wood, and her cherished daughter, Julia.

Heather was the beloved daughter of Delores and Eugene “Woody” Wood, who preceded her in death, along with her precious daughter, Julia Virginia Thompson.

Heather leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love, compassion, strength, and resilience. She is survived by her children, eldest daughter, Shandell Schacher and her husband, Justin; son, Travis Webber; and the last of her “Mohicans,” Chelsea Webber.

Her grandchildren were the light of her life: Chloe Schacher, Coletin Schacher, Ja’Khari Mabry, Amari Mabry, Ryker Webber, Ralaya Webber, and Rainsley Webber.

Heather also held a special place in her heart for her stepchildren, especially Thomas Webber and his wife, Crystal, and their sons, Triston and T.J.

She is also survived by her brothers, Shawn Wood, Jon Wood, Blake DeRoin, and Logan DeRoin; and her sister, Misty Davis, and her husband, Chris Davis.

Heather and her former husband, Tommy Webber, shared a lifelong journey that evolved into a lasting friendship built on love, respect, and family. Though their marriage ended, they remained by one another’s side through life’s many seasons, truly honoring the words, “until death do us part.” She also shared a treasured lifelong friendship with Steven Dittmeyer, who loved her dearly and remained an important part of her life.

Heather spent many years of her life working alongside her father at family business “Wood Termite Pest Control”. Heather was a proud co- owner who successfully managed Top Cats Bar, which previously was known as her families business “Woodys”. Her compassion extended beyond business as she dedicated herself to caring for others while working at the Oklahoma State School, where she touched countless lives with her kindness. She also earned her Associate’s in Arts Degree, reflecting her determination, perseverance, and commitment to personal growth.

Known for her outspoken personality and contagious laughter, Heather was truly the life of the party. She had a gift for making others smile. She loved spending time with her family and found joy in life’s simple pleasures—playing pool, visiting the casino, buying scratch-off tickets, watching scary movies, and creating lasting memories with those she loved.

As time became more precious, Heather reminded those around her that every moment is a gift. She lived boldly, loved deeply, and embraced life on her own terms. Every challenge she faced became another opportunity to grow stronger. Above all, her greatest accomplishment and proudest legacy were her children and grandchildren.

Heather’s life stands as a testament to God’s faithfulness and the incredible strength of the human spirit. If there is one word she would leave imprinted on the hearts of those who loved her, it is resilience. Life will always have its curves and hardships, but through faith, perseverance, and love, growth will always follow.

A celebration of Heather’s remarkable life will be held on Monday, July 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service in Enid, Ok, followed by burial at Enid Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved father and precious daughter. A viewing is scheduled for July 19, 2026 2pm-7pm at Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone for the outpouring love, prayers, and support during this difficult time. Heather was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed, but her strength, laughter, and unwavering love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
