1973 - 2026
Kristi Pritchett Semrad, 53, a devoted Christian, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, entered the presence of her Lord October 26, 2026. She was born on June 29, 1973, and was lovingly adopted by Bill "Peewee" and Jean (Edwards) Pritchett. Raised in Enid, Oklahoma, Kristi graduated from Enid High School with the Class of 1991.
Kristi's life was defined by her unwavering faith, selfless love for others, and strong work ethic. She was blessed with her daughter, Katie Boese, who became one of the greatest joys of her life. Kristi worked hard throughout her life to provide for her family, holding positions at several local businesses over the years, including Carlton Cards and Hutch's.
On March 21, 1998, Kristi married the love of her life, Jeff Semrad. Through their marriage, she proudly embraced a bonus daughter, Ramiah Semrad. In 2001, Jeff and Kristi welcomed their son, Joshua, completing their family.
Family was at the center of everything Kristi did. From the time Joshua entered first grade, she and Jeff became deeply involved in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. Together they served as Den Leaders and Troop Leaders for more than twelve years, mentoring countless young people and helping shape future generations. Even after Joshua graduated from high school, Kristi continued volunteering and assisting whenever needed. Her dedication to Scouting left a lasting impact, and recently the chow hall at Camp Williams was dedicated in her memory.
In 2014, Kristi joined Hobby Lobby as a cashier and later advanced to Customer Service Manager. For twelve years, she was often the first person customers saw as they entered the store, greeting them with a smile, and welcoming spirit. Her commitment to her work and the people around her was evident every day. Even while fighting cancer for more than a decade, Kristi persevered with remarkable strength, often continuing to work through chemotherapy treatments. Her resilience was a testament to both her determination and her faith.
Kristi's love for her family was the driving force behind her life. She treasured her children, grandchildren, friends, and beloved pets. Her servant's heart touched everyone who knew her.
Kristi was preceded in death by her father, Bill "Peewee" Pritchett.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Jeff Semrad; her mother, Jean Edwards; her children, Katie and Shawn O'Brien, and Ramiah Semrad and Dustin Gilmore, Joshua Semrad; two granddaughters and six grandsons; and her cherished pets, Spirit, Champ, Chester, Shadow, and Pogo.
Though her family grieves her passing, they find comfort in knowing that Kristi is now healed and at peace with her Savior. "Well done, good and faithful servant." - Matthew 25:23
