Mass of Christian Burial for Ronald F. Tuma, 84 of Waukomis, will be Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at 10:00 am in St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church with Rev. Robert Miller celebrant. Private family inurnment will follow in Bison Cemetery, Bison, Oklahoma.
Ronald was born on August 27, 1941 in Leigh, Nebraska to Emil F. and Emma (Dvorak) Tuma and passed away August 12, 2026 at his home with his family by his side.
He grew up in Clarkson, Nebraska and graduated from Clarkson High School. On November 25, 1975, Ronald married Kathy Marie Duhachek in Ss Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church.
He was a farmer, who raised cattle and sheep and drove a truck. He loved polka music, traveling, reading, and his dogs. Ronald enjoyed visiting with family, friends, and anyone who would listen. He always had a story to tell.
He was preceded in death by son, Ronald R.; parents, and sister, Lorraine Tuma.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Kathy; children, Jaclyn and Steve Holmes, Andrea and Nicholas Rigney, Michael and Tonina Tuma, and Christopher and Chelsea Tuma; nine grandchildren Matthew Holmes, Scarlett and Grayson Rigney, Demi, Ethan, and Evie Tuma, and Orrin, Obin and Oliver Tuma; and other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made through Anderson-Burris to Waukomis Fire Department.
