CTB Sports Director Derek Darr sat down with Cherokee Head Football Coach Bryce Schanbacher to discuss the upcoming semi-final matchup against Seiling.
The coach began by discussing the key to the team’s victory:
“It starts with the kids and their commitment, their work ethic, buying into what we wanted to do. Started the year off, had a couple of rough games to start with. But [we] got [on] track and have just been staying focused and rolling over since.”
Coach Schanbacher laid out the game plan against the Seiling Wildcats:
“We just have to do what we do, believe in ourselves and our abilities. They are a very good football team, but so are we. And so, we have to remember that [and] go out there and play hard. Show that we belong there, and go out and win.”
