In this interview, CTB Sports Director sat down with Enid Pacers Head Volleyball Coach Valerie Fransisco to discuss the upcoming season.
Coach Francisco started off by discussing how the offseason has treated the Pacers so far.
“In our offseason, we’ve been in the weight room. We’ve been to Wichita State camp, and we also had Cowley County—their coach came down and put on a camp for us. We’ve been on the court, [and] the gym, hitting weights.”
The coach wanted to highlight some players who have stepped up on the team.
“We have three of our seniors [who] stepped up. We have Emma Sullivan, Lauren Jackson, and Bailey Daniel. Then we have…a junior Karen Gomez, she kind of came out of nowhere…So we’re just really excited about the girls who have been hiding in the shadows.”
