In this interview, CTB Sports Director Derek Darr sat down with the Garber Head Girls Basketball Coach Luke Broadbent to discuss the playoffs.
The Coach expressed his gratitude for the team’s progress:
“The main thing is that we have bought in and defended people. There’s been a few games where you know that lapsed a little bit, but overall, I have been very happy with the way we play defense….”
Coach Broadbent highlighted what the team needs to do to make a deep postseason run:
“We’re going to have to do the little things right. We’ve hung our hat defensively on holding…and really dominating the glass. If we keep doing that, we’re going to be really tough to beat because I don’t think people will score on us long-term.”
