Hennessey Eagles Head Football Coach Mark Cox spoke with CTB Sports about the upcoming season. The Eagles are looking to bounce back from last year where they went 1-9 in a rebuilding season.
Hennessey will have several returning players like QB Gunnar Holder, RB Jessin Hardin, and WR Kevin Trillo. Coach Cox spoke about the Eagle’s summer pride program saying “it went well, our attendance was good for the most part the guy’s put in a lot of work”. Hennessey’s numbers are up from last season which should help the Eagles be more competitive.
Hennessey will be playing area teams like Cashion, Crescent, and Chisholm in their non-district schedule while they will be playing Newkirk, Alva, Meeker, Kellyville, Luther Stroud, and Cassady in their district schedule.
