In this interview, CTB Sports Director Derek Darr sat down with Okarche Lady Warriors Head Girls Basketball Coach Brett Tahah to discuss the playoffs.
The coach began by discussing what has led to the team’s success this year:
“We are a group of girls that work incredibly hard, and we have really good team chemistry, and the excitement of last year has kind of propelled us into [a] good start in the regular season this year. We played a tough schedule, and I can’t wait to see where the playoff run takes us.”
Coach Tahah mentioned some of the keys to victory for the Lay Warriors:
“We pride ourselves on the defensive end. We’re holding teams to around 32 points a game average this year, and that’s something we pride ourselves on, and we work on it. If we can play defense and score some points, I feel like our chances are pretty good.”
