In this interview, CTB Sports Director Derek Darr sat down with the Okeene Head Football Coach Tanner Allen to discuss the upcoming season.
The coach started off by talking about how summer practices have been going.
“I think the offseason, weights, passing league, and team camp [have] all been really good. We got quite a few guys that [have] a lot of experience last year coming back, so I think that’s made it feel more comfortable this summer.”
Coach highlighted some players who are becoming seniors and have stepped up to become team leaders.
“I would say Harley Carves, Ace Long, Wayne Jenkins, William Wooley, Rayson Roberts, Corey Turnham.” There’s a handful of guys who are going to be seniors that I couldn’t be more proud of. They’ve worked their tails off this summer.
