Plainsmen Outfielder and Pitcher Seth Carlson became the latest Plainsmen to make a college commitment. Carlson announced that he would be attending Crowder Community College after the completion of his Senior year.

Carlson was spectacular his Sophomore season helping the Plainsmen make it to the state tournament. Carlson was a standout at centerfield where he started most of the year and was also dangerous at the plate and stole several bases.

Carlson was also a reliable option on the mound sometimes starting and sometimes coming in as a reliever. Unfortunately, Carlson missed most of his Junior year due to an injury suffered during Football season, appearing in only a few games as a reliever before being shut down for the rest of the season.

Carlson hopes to return to form for his Senior year and power the Plainsmen to a 2023 State Championship victory.
