CTB Sports Director Derek Darr sat down with the South Sumner Head Football Coach, Sean Blosser, to talk about the upcoming game against West Elk.
The coach shared what has led to the success of the team so far:
“A lot of our success is just [that] we have a great senior group and upperclassmen that have really bought into what we want to do, and they’re modeling, and we’re growing each week, and we’ve had a tough week in week four where we didn’t get the outcome we thought we needed, and where we could be, and I’m just incredibly proud of our young men for responding and wanting to continue to work towards our goals and just better ourselves each week.”
Coach Blosser talked about what we wants to see from the team at the end of the regular season:
“We’re really hoping and just want to see a consistent fight in us every play, being able to understand that we have six seconds to fight our tails off to make sure we’re getting our job done for each other. That’s what we’re focusing on, and that’s what we’ll focus on. “
