Pond Creek-Hunter has found the new leader of their Football Program.
The Panthers have hired Tanner Bowman as their new Football Head Coach.
Bowman was formerly a head coach at Beaver and an assistant coach at Cherokee.
Familiar with 8-Man Football in NW Oklahoma, Bowman was a standout quarterback for the Cherokee Chiefs, graduating in 2015. During his four years as a Chief, Bowman went to two State Championship Games, winning the Gold ball in 2013.
Bowman takes control of a Pond Creek Hunter program that saw longtime head coach David Kerr retire just two weeks ago.
Pond Creek-Hunter went 7-4 in 2021, and return a lot of starters on both sides of the ball.
