Tuesday’s Plainsmen Baseball Game POSTPONED

After talking with Plainsmen head coach Brad Gore, he informed CTB Sports that tonight’s game between the Enid Plainsmen and Stillwater Pioneers at David Allen Memorial Ballpark has been postponed because of the weather conditions. The news doesn’t really come as a surprise as rain has been falling in Enid since the mid morning and is not forecasted to stop until at least Wednesday night (possibly Thursday morning).

Because the matchup is a district contest, the game will have to be made up and will instead be played on Thursday at 6PM at DAMB. This move means the Thursday evening game against Ponca City has been canceled and will not be made up since it is not a district matchup.

The Plainsmen will enter Thursday’s game at 23-7 on the season and 11-2 in district play. Enid has clinched the #2 seed in the district while Stillwater is still fighting for the #4 seed in the district. So this final district contest has a lot of implications for Stillwater as a win or loss could effect who they play at Regionals.

CTB Sports will have the call of Thursday’s matchup on CTB Sports 1640/1390AM and enidlive.com. The Plainsmen will then take on Jenks on Friday at DAMB before finishing the regular season on Monday in Edmond against Edmond Memorial.
