State Records Less Than 500 New COVID-19 Cases, 22 Deaths Reported

(Enid, OK) Oklahoma reported 499 new COVID-19 cases and 22 additional deaths on Monday.

Of the 22 deaths statewide, 17 were in the 65 and older age group including one man and two women in Oklahoma County, two men and one woman in Carter County, two Tulsa County men, one man and one woman in Pottawatomie County, one man each in Kay, Washington, Creek, and Cleveland counties and one woman each in Noble, Rogers and Adair counties.

The remaining five deaths were in the 50-64 age group including two Oklahoma County men, one Comanche County man and one woman each in Cherokee and Ottawa counties.

Garfield County’s COVID-19 cases numbers increased by five on Monday for an overall total of 7,525, with 248 active cases.

Other county case increases in Northwest Oklahoma on Monday included four in Grant, three in Kingfisher, two in Noble and one in Alfalfa, one in Blaine and one in Woods County.
