Oklahoma Highway Patrol has reported that a single-vehicle accident that occurred late on Monday night a mile west of Douglas has left the driver of the vehicle dead.
Charles A. Mack, 59, of Waukomis was driving on East Bison Rd. near South 126th St. when the accident took place. What happened to cause the accident as well as the Mack’s condition at the time are still under investigation.
When rescue teams arrived at the scene, Mack had been pinned inside the vehicle for an unknown period of time. Mack was pronounced dead at the scene.
